This is our forth stay at the Stone Cabin. We love this place and the host! Anything and everything we ever is need is available. The place is spotless, comfortable and in a great location. We can't say enough good things. We can't wait to come back!

If I were to describe our stay here in one word it would be “glorious.” This was no doubt the best experience I have ever had with Airbnb. The house, felt like a home and the host, felt like family. Our stay at this unique spiritual retreat was a wonderful experience. Pictures do not do justice to the beauty of the space and its energy. The master suite was perfect for a self care getaway — the bathroom is breathtaking — and the kitchen offered perfect amenities for cooking a good meal! We would love to return with friends to share its wonder or for a healing retreat with clients in my holistic health practice. I loved my stay! It was peaceful and quiet with only the sounds of the wind and windchimes at night. The sky was clear, and you could see the stars well. I loved all the architectural details and the meditative nature to walking the serpentine paths throughout the spaces of the house, weaving through rooms filled with plants and decor, and up & down little stairs. Beyond the house, there's an excellent view of Wrightsville and the river. This was the perfect stay for me to rest and recharge. I journaled, practiced yoga, took a bath, meditated and slept well. The hosts were kind, friendly and accommodating. They welcomed me with chill music playing throughout the house via the sound system. I loved the radiant heating of the floors, and all the interesting light qualities in the morning. I think there are enough interesting spaces for people either to socialize or find quiet, privacy. May be the best Airbnb I've ever stayed at. Looking forward to next time! Thank you

This house is very unique, neat and a great experience! Host was very responsive to the issues with the HVAC system not keeping the house warm and did their best to fix it during our stay. Host is very responsive and prompt!

A perfect way to spend a peaceful weekend. A hobbit themed home with so many wonderful items related to the books/movies. Highly recommend for LOTR fans and anyone wanting to get away yet close to town, stores and restaurants.

We had a great stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed for a relaxing getaway. We especially appreciated the fully stocked kitchen—it had everything we needed for cooking and made meals super easy. The location was peaceful and quiet, a perfect spot to unwind. One thing to note: the WiFi is pretty basic. It worked fine for light browsing, but we weren’t able to work remotely as planned. Not a dealbreaker at all, but something to be aware of if you need strong internet during your stay. Overall, we really enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again!

We had a great time relaxing at Mary-Lou's place. We took a ladies's trip-train ride for the weekend and stayed in Shenandoah Junction. There were so many things to see and do. We hiked, we barbecued, we played games and chatted. Nobody had any complaints. The host was very accommodating but we didn't have to ask for much because it was all laid out for us. The binder provided, had color pictures and descriptions on how to operate things. The kitchen was rustic-chic and very spaceous. We had a travel-chef from Sweet Robbins Kitchen prepare dinner and Brunch for us. She said she wished that every kitchen was as well stocked and organized as this one. The beds were comfortable and 'abundant'. Just book it! There were 10 ladies and no complaints.

Great, quiet place. Great location and amazing host. Hospitable and friendly. The house was clean and peaceful, beds clean and comfortable, and energy was pristine.

We really loved staying here- the design, construction, and decoration of the cabin really drew us in and made the stay magical- my wife referred to it as our little Hobbit House! The cabin is small but spacious- it was pretty much perfect for a couple and their dog. The location was easy to find and quite beautiful, with so many pretty sights on the drive up the mountain to get there. The property itself is beautiful too, with lots to do just walking around the property. We were in the area to go see waterfalls and caves nearby, and those did not disappoint either. Though a bit more touristy than we usually visit, both Ruby Falls and Rock City Gardens were well worth the trip and the cost of admission with absolutely stunning views and sights. If we travel to Chattanooga again, we will definitely be staying in our cute little Hobbit House when we visit!

This was our second time visiting the House in the Hill! It's so peaceful and secluded. My family celebrated Easter and spent our Spring Break here. The kids loved having their Easter egg hunt out in the yard. We had plans to visit the NC Zoo but the kids chose to stay and play at the house instead. We will definitely be back again!

My family and I had such a great time at Cary’s this past weekend. It was so quiet out there. Cary was a great host. The place was spotless and she was very responsive with messages. It rained all weekend, like flooding everywhere type rain, and Cary checked in on us to make sure we were safe and that meant a great deal to me. We will definitely be back this summer!

The most exceptional hospitality experience I have ever had the pleasure to enjoy. This is the best airbnb in Norman, easily, and ultimately it’s because the owners are extremely thoughtful and decent people. More than anything, it’s just such a cool space, and it is so relaxing. I stayed here during Norman Music Festival, which is free, and very fun, and I am a very big music enthusiast and work at a music venue, yet this airbnb is so nice and decompressing that I found it hard to leave! Just a lovely space run by lovely people. I look forward to returning one day.

My family and I stayed at Shiner’s Shire for my husband’s 50th Birthday. Our stay exceeded our expectations! We couldn’t get over how meticulously and beautifully decorated the home was! You can tell great care and thought went into creating a fun and comfortable experience for their guests. If you love The Hobbit, or even if you don’t, you will still enjoy the cozy and magical feel of their place! In addition to the decor, the place is immaculate and so clean! It also has 3 full bathrooms which is wonderful when you have a larger family. The outside of the home as well as the neighborhood is uniquely decorated and fun to walk around and look at all the fun homes in the area. It’s quiet and safe as well! Michelle was an excellent communicator and attentive to our needs. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We will absolutely be back!

Nicest cave I have ever stayed in. It captures a unique experience with some some comfortable accommodations that exceeded my expectations.
