We have stayed at Burnside several times. It is a large warm, comfortable house and has easy access for our elderly father. The large picture window makes the most of the beautiful loch view. This is a great place for walking on Skye, Applecross, Killin and nearby. The large front, well kept lawn is enclosed and was greatly appreciated by my dog! We had an amazing time and had almost perfect warm and sunny weather all week! We'll undoubtedly be back.

Für uns war die Unterkunft von Don ein echter Glückstreffer und ideal für unsere Touren. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt und den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Aussicht auf Loch Harport beim Frühstück, das "The Old Inn" mit Livemusik, der kleine Community Shop fast über die Strasse, die ruhige Lage, gute Literatur über Schottland und Skye und natürlich Don, dem keine Frage zu viel war, einfach super! Dankeschön!!!

I booked this property for my husband and his 3 friends for his 40th birthday. Wallace was extremely communicative at all times, and was very welcoming to the group on arrival. One of the guests arrived early and while Wallace explained the place would not be ready till check in, the guest was able to fish on the loch till later in the day, and thoroughly enjoyed himself! The property was as described, perfectly clean and the location was exactly what I was looking for when I booked. It was easy to find, and the walking guides and maps of the local area were very helpful too. Would book again!

The property has the most amazing views of the loch and we sat out every evening on the picnic bench overlooking the scenery. We were of course very lucky we had sun, but i imagine even in rain, the property would feel cosy and there are amazing views from the lounge and kitchen. Brian, the host, was very helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing stay. Check in was easy and Brian gave local recommendations for us too. All of us also said that the beds were super comfy and, as we ate in almost every night, the kitchen facilities were excellent. We hope to be back to this wonderful spot again!!

We had a wonderful stay at Kim’s home in Fearnan. The house was exceptionally clean, peaceful, and perfectly located just across from the beautiful Loch Tay. We were lucky to enjoy great weather, which made the views even more special. The kitchen was well-equipped, which made it easy to prepare meals, and we appreciated how close everything was — including a great local shop, The Courtyard Shop & Delicatessen in nearby Kenmore. Communication with Kim was fast and helpful, check-in was smooth, and the neighbors we met were kind and welcoming. One small note: the beds might feel a bit tight for two people, but the spacious upstairs living area helped balance that out. We’d definitely love to come back — it’s a quiet, charming place that’s easy to feel at home in.

La promesse de la vue était fabuleuse et nous avons pas été déçus. Si vous recherchez un endroit paisible et isolé, c’est l’endroit parfait. Il n’est pas parfaitement placé si vous cherchez les endroits touristiques à visiter mais le lieu se suffit à lui même pour quelques nuits et il est parfait pour se reposer et profiter du calme. Les chambres et pièces de vie sont très belles et bien décorées. Merci de mettre une belle maison comme ça à disposition.

An outstanding property in terms of location, style and comfort. Furnishings of a high standard and befitting the period character of the house. Enjoyed watching the changing patterns of weather from the comfortable indoor and outdoor furniture. Duncan was a gracious host. Highly recommended.

We had a great stay at Marina House. It had everything we needed for our short visit and a perfect location for travelling around Northern Ireland. The kids play area just outside was fantastic and the local coffee shops and bars welcoming, especially for an end of day pint and a game of darts! Jenn was very helpful and replied to our queries promptly. Would visit again.

Très bel emplacement pour cet appartement. Il s’agit bien d’un appartement parmi d’autres dans l’abbaye. Belle vue sur le loch ness.

Lovely little apartment located in a great spot on the river. We stopped in one night and ended up getting a pint and dinner at the waterfront which was a minute down the road - highly recommend. For the apartment, it was very cozy and served us well. Our experience was enhanced by Rebecca who went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Overall great stay and recommend to all.

Nous avons passé trois nuits fabuleuses dans l'appartement de Sarah. Outre la vue (aussi magnifique que sur les photos), il est grand, confortable et particulièrement bien équipé. Parfaitement situé pour rayonner dans les Highlands, bref à recommander sans hésiter !

Lovely place to stay. Chrissie gave very helpful instructions to find the accommodation as well as some good recommendations. Everything was as described and had everything needed for a quiet stay. Good fishing places nearby. Local cafe was great too. Chrissie was very friendly

Really great place with such welcoming hosts. Bath was sadly out of use but the hospitality made up for that!

Jakki’s spacious apartment had everything we could wish for. Lots of extras - basic foods to start us off and some goodies to make us feel welcome. Lots of little extras in the cupboards and drawers and toiletries in the bathroom. We were welcomed by Jakki’s husband on our arrival and were assured that they were there for us if there was anything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

this was set in the most beautiful location, really easily accessible to all of glencoe and fort william's beautiful surroundings. apartment had everything we needed and was comfy we would definately book again thank you

We were extremely delighted with this lovely cottage. The estate was beautiful, we were next door to the farm shop and tea room which was handy. the cottage was extremely clean and welcoming. One downside that we would like to point out is the steps between rooms. Both myself and my friend do have mobility issues but even with this taken into account my friend had a near miss entering the bathroom and I actually had a nasty fall. the step is easily forgotten and not seen. I would recommend a motion light maybe near the floor, to bring attention to the step or even black and yellow warning tape. Also it's a tight squeeze between the hand basin and wall to get to the toilet. All that said we would still visit again and highly recommend it. There was also welcome goodies provided which was extremely kind.

What can I say, the best Airbnb we have stayed at to date! This place is perfect, you are in the middle of fields, with lambs everywhere, your own private loch that has kayaks available to use (great fun!), a secure garden to let the dogs roam freely. The house itself is bigger than the images seem, we had plenty of space for four adults, a toddler and three dogs. They provided a cot and high chair which is a great help. There’s a huge boot room which is great to throw off your coat and walking boots, and give the dogs a towel dry after a walk. Beds were perfectly comfortable, a cosy log fire, plenty of hot water in the showers, what more could you ask for! The house felt more like a home than a rental and we are already planning our next trip. The hosts were friendly and available for any questions you may have. My daughter didn’t want to come inside, she was obsessed with the sheep and being in the garden! only issue was signal for the firestick/ phones was poor but not an issue.

Sehr zu empfehlen für 1-2 Wochen mit Kindern (4&7) für Ausflüge in der Umgebung, egal ob Fähre auf die Isle of Mull oder Zug von Arrochard&Tarbet nach Corrour (sehr einsam, super für Wanderungen) oder die Wanderung von Inveraray Castle zum Dun Na Cuaiche Watchtower). Die Gastgeber waren super hilfsbereit und sehr diskret, immer bereit zu helfen oder Tipps zu geben. Küche perfekt ausgestattet, auch alle Basic Zutaten, tolles Esszimmer, super gemütliches Doppelbett. Insgesamt eine perfekte Airbnb Erfahrung! Vielen Dank!

Wonderful place and hosts! Caroline and her husband were wonderful, made our anniversary very special. The wood fired hot tub was such a delight after some long hikes in the mountains and they made sure it was perfectly heated for us each night. They went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. left is some treats that were amazing and it's just such a cozy cottage. We absolutely loved our stay here.

Very well designed cottage making the best possible use of quite a small space - with both a shower room and bathroom , utility room as well as kitchen/living space and the patio with hot tub. Although near to the High Street with a range of takeaways and a superb butcher (Hunters) the cottage is in a very quiet street. The nearby Curate Wynd free car park was very handy and we could unload from there. Although Dawn and Darren were away Dawn was on hand to answer any queries. We had a great three day break - spending the days at the RSPB Nature Reserve in stunning weather. We ate out one night at the Balgedie Toll Tavern - highly recommended for great food and very good service.

Words cannot express the wonderful week we have had on Loch Katrine. Old Smiddy is ideally located for hiking the mountains, lochs and woodland and Carole has thought of all you need to make it feel like a home from home. Having our morning tea watching the Barn Swallows and House Martins catching their breakfast on the lake in the sunshine was very special. Aberfoyle has all you need for food and cute shops and fantastic Doone Hill walk from the town - Free Parking!!! A ferry trip on the Sir Walter Scott from the pier over to Trossachs Pier is a MUST and the Primrose Hill hike was stunning. The Pier Cafe is outstanding, definitely worth a treat and just a short walk away. Thank you Carole for sharing your amazing house, we will be back to enjoy the hot tub and sauna 🤞

Fantastic location and beautiful house with everything you could need for your stay. Lovely box of shortbread on our arrival which was a nice find 🙂 surrounding countryside was very walkable and also able to get to the river. Highly recommend this house it was super.

Our groups second visit to the cottage bunkhouse . It’s a perfect fit for a small group . Everything you need to explore this corner of Mull. Close to Fionnphort, Iona ferry and nearby beaches. Rachel is a great host and makes everything simple and on hand if you need advice / help. Looking forward to going back again next year .
