When we booked Otter’s Cabin we were looking for somewhere to relax and have some time to unwind and Otter’s Cabin gave us just that. The cabin itself is rustic and unique but this is exactly what we were looking for. The floating bridge was an adventure with 2 dogs before our day began but they got used to it quickly and by the time we left they were crossing it like pros. The views were outstanding and the seal visitors were a delight to watch. I would highly recommend Otter’s Cabin for anyone looking for a little piece of Scotland to relax in peace and tranquility.

Great location, great hosts, and an overall wonderful stay. Unfortunately, we had to cut our trip short due to an emergency, but we’d absolutely love to come back in the future. The place had everything we needed, and we felt completely at home during our time there. One tip for anyone visiting during the colder months — be sure to pack warm clothing, especially for moving between the different cabins. The views and peaceful setting made it a really special experience, even with our shorter stay.

We had a lovely couple of days break at Ian’s. He greeted us and gave us all the information we would need for a quick check in. If you enjoy quirky, scenic, historic, picturesque accommodation and timeless scenery, this is the place for you. We have two dogs and they absolutely loved it! Great skies at night and the hot tub wasn’t too shabby either. The best quirk is the floating bridge which in certain weather conditions can be fun. It offers a unique and playful side to this wonderful look back to a time when things were “simpler”.

Collanmore Island Lodge is unreal, couldn't recommend it more! We had the best stag weekend ever here and Ciaran is a absolute gent. Getting to the island is easy and exciting, beds are comfy and facilities are top notch. Ideal for big family gatherings or any type of West of Ireland getaway. I will be back again for sure, thank you Ciaran and your great team.

Our stay on the Isle of Lewis was made so much more incredible through meeting Dolina! We were welcomed into her home with homemade scones and tea and an amazing home cooked meal. Her home was very close to the Great Bernara hike and beautiful Bosta Beach. It's about a 45 minute drive to Tarbert in Harris, and about a 35 minute drive from Stornaway. We saw stags, seals and sea otters while walking around the small village. Dolina provided everything we needed and went above and beyond to make sure we felt right at home, and did I already mention the homemade scones? Highly recommend if you're looking for a quiet location to explore Isle of Lewis.

Wow what an incredible stay! This is hands down the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at, and easily my favorite so far. From the moment we arrived, it felt like home. Every part of the property from the cozy bedroom to the charming dining room, well-equipped kitchen, and beautiful gardens was thoughtfully maintained and welcoming. We stayed in the Hermitage Cottage, which overlooks the river, and the view was absolutely stunning. The hot tub was ready for us on arrival, which was such a treat. One of the highlights was the peaceful walk around the island, surrounded by nature and the calming sound of the river flowing pure serenity. Jerry was the perfect host his clear instructions made everything easy and ensured we had a super comfortable and relaxing stay. We’re already looking forward to coming back again soon, hopefully for a much longer visit. It’s the perfect getaway.

David's place was cosy and peaceful and felt like a little slice of heaven. Watching the Sparrowhawk live on the TV was a wonderful experience and my partner and I slept very well on the comfortable bed. We awoke to the birds dawn chorus and enjoyed an idyllic morning looking out into the garden with a cuppa, which started our day off right! We'd definitely stay again.

We had a fantastic short break at Thomas Gray house. The house itself was well-designed, clean and comfortable and the surroundings were beautiful, with easy access to the Lake District and Morecambe Bay. Our children particularly loved the Air Hockey and other games, as well as the huge TVs. They didn’t want to leave at the end of our stay.

A truly luxurious property. Jerry is a great host, he sent videos and packs before we went so we knew exactly what to expect. Lovely touches like Sonos speakers, an AMAZING coffee machine, and a very fancy lighting set up (no spoilers, you’ll need to go to experience it!) There are maybe 4 or 5 properties on the private estate, all owned byJerry. On arrival (we were a family of 4) we were a bit worried about the massive party in the property next to ours but I can confidently state that, even though we could vaguely hear their music in the ‘living room’ (very quietly and not at all if the TV or our quiet music was on) it was absolutely indistinguishable in both bedrooms and we forgot about them shortly after checking in! The property is very large and extremely clean. Really recommend the ‘Station’ pub which is a 10-15 min walk down a public pathway. Really local, friendly and fabulous food. Go on, treat yourself!

A stunning location and the bothy was ideal for enjoying those wonderful views and feeling away from it all and yet in perfect comfort. Ned and Toni were particularly warm and friendly hosts. Altogether highly recommended.

What can I say but wow x Fantastic studio with the most fabulous views from out of every window. We were blown away by it. Hubby is a birdwatcher and enjoyed every second, spotting Golden Eagles and Sea Eagles daily. The hosts, Peter and Mary were excellent, lovely and friendly and most helpful and accommodating. Without a shadow of a doubt I would recommend everyone to go and stay in this beautiful studio.

Absolutely Fantastic!! What a beautiful, peaceful place. Brilliant set up. We wanted quiet, remote and away from the crowds and that's what we got. The views are amazing, couldn't stop looking over Campbeltown Loch, watching the seals and sea otters catching fish. Ned & Toni (& Collies) are perfect hosts. Everything is thought of, everything you need to know is provided before your stay. Nice little extra touches in the Cabins. Above and beyond. There's more than everything you need in the cabins. We're definitely staying again and definitely not telling anyone about it........ it's our little secret!....... OK, maybe we will. Thanks to you both. What a memorable experience. If we could give you more than 5 stars, we would of.

Hi! We've spent 2 wonderful weeks at the house. The view is absolutely magnificent. Directly on the sea, secluded and therefore perfect for a break from everyday life. We have also been able to watch otters and seals. It is just so beautiful there. Everything we needed was available in the house. There was even wifi, so we could research and plan our day trips well in advance. Ronan could be reached super fast if you had questions about the house or anything else in advance. Thank you Ronan for such a wonderful stay!

Beautiful place and as described. Loved it. The sunrise over the mainland was incredible. What a place to wake up. Jinty was attentive. Great glamping hut. Rum is an incredible place.

What can i say. The Boathouse is the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in. Its so peaceful and serene in the most idyllic location overlooking Strangford Lough. Aileen is a pleasure to meet and really pulled out all the stops with the "little extras" we didn't expect. On a good day you can sit and watch the sun rise and on a clear night you can see the beautiful starry sky with no light pollution. Our dog loved running around the extensive grounds and we even enjoyed a game or two of tennis! If its rest and relaxation you are after you wont find a better place than Simmy Island. We had the perfect stay!

Wow, Wow, Wow!!! A true piece of heaven on earth! Not sure I can say enough about our 2 night stay, except I wish it had been longer. The location is quiet, peaceful and stunning; the home is charming, comfortable, and unique, your host is knowledgable, helpful and a most wonderful chef. Graham made us dinner the first night and everything was superb - highly recommend you opt for the "at-home" meal too. Breakfast was effectively three courses, so delightful. We also enjoyed his pups for a cuddle or two as we were missing ours left behind for the trip. Lon Ban will be a 5 star base for you to explore the magical Isle of Skye!
