Really lovely stay in a beautiful, warm cabin which had everything we needed! Towels, juice, tea, coffee, milk all included. Wifi was helpful with the lack of signal. We arrived in the dark, so it was lovely to wake up to see the horses and ducks!

What a find. Such a beautiful location for our little break. Such friendly hosts. Everything was wonderful and our children are already asking when we can go back! Both Suzanne and Mark were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for making our stay so special 😊

Paul and Maggi were great hosts. They went out of their way to meet and greet me and were extremely helpful during my stay. I’ve stayed in many Airbnb properties but this one has to be one of my favourites. The location is very private and peaceful and I felt very relaxed during my stay. I’m sure I will return at some point.

We had a great couple of nights away as a family with 3 children and a dog. the surrounding walks were great ways to get plenty of fresh air. Just what was needed and the children absolutely loved finding the animals around the farm. Katie and Nathan were great hosts who left us to it unless we needed anything then was very responsive to any questions we had. the Dairy is a lovely little place to stay that had everything we needed. The hot tub was well worth getting too as completed our break nicely! Will defo hope to stay again.

We absolutely loved our stay at the shepherds hut. The views were incredible, the decking to sit on in the sun was just perfect. We loved watching the cows and it’s a 10 minute drive in either direction to even more beauty spots. The space is modern and comfortable and even though its small, everything we needed was provided and the shower was plenty spacious. We’d recommend stocking up the fridge when you arrive so you don’t need to venture out to the shops.

Wow, what a place! 10/10 for everything! The location was amazing, beautiful views and the only neighbours were the cute sheep! A perfect place to escape, switch off and enjoy nature. The hut had everything you needed and was in the best location for walks. Would recommend to anyone! Can’t wait to come back. Catherine was a lovely host and made everything perfect for us. Lovley, clean, cosy, private lodge. Pub just at the end of the path. Everything we needed for a short break. Just needed a mop as my lemonade sprayed and the dog and us had muddy feet from the garden path so had to use a towel to clean the floor but no issue Brilliant dog walks in the woods and nice to come back in the hot tub and relax. Thank you. Just what we needed. Lovley tranquil night away from life. 😊

My daughter and I had really lovely stay at Shepherd's Rest. We loved everything about it from the charming little hut to the peaceful setting. We loved the hot tub, and the visits from the gorgeous labradors. My daughter adored them and looked out for them each day. We will definitely be back. Thank you!

This was our 3rd time at the Shepherds Lodge and once again it was a 5 star stay. Beautiful lodge with amazing views. Lovely place to sit in the evening with a drink and plenty of great walks nearby. Thank you 😊

Lovely peaceful stay nicely tucked away in the countryside. The copper bath is the star of the show , offering a unique but better twist to a hot tub. Thank-you!

I booked Wuthering Huts for a 2 night break for my partners birthday and it completely exceeded my expectations! Cate was really accommodating and even put together a birthday banner and balloon which we thought was such a lovely touch. Cate also brought us some eggs from her chickens and had a welcome hamper and all the necessities that are often overlooked. Out of all the shepherds huts we’ve stayed in, this was by far the best. The area itself has been done to such a high standard and the decor is beautiful. We did the Brontë walk which was lovely and walking distance from the hut but we are actually thinking about rebooking in the future with view to spend our time simply at the hut itself as it was extremely relaxing. Our little dog loved it too! Although dog friendly I didn’t actually see a single dog hair anywhere. We have already recommended Cates huts to numerous friends who were envious after seeing the photos we put online! Thanks for an amazing stay, Imogen, Steven & Essi

What can I say, beautiful, peaceful an ideal getaway for some peace and tranquility. The shepherd hut was lovely, clean and tidy and a homely feel. We absolutely loved it. Our German shepherd came with us (7months old). He’s quite reactive having never seen loose chickens and peafowl. Our hosts put us right at ease about his barking…. I couldn’t fault it and we definitely want to return. Loved it, a much needed R&R BREAK. Thankyou for being fabulous hosts . Their directions to Lobbs was spot on and how to enter the shepherd hut. Everything was thought of. We had two fires, everything supplied. Perfect ♥️

What a gem this place is, we had a wonderful stay at Shepherd's Watch! It was very clean, cosy, and relaxing. Lisa was on hand for everything we needed. The location is stunning and perfect for exploring all the nearby attractions. We could easily have spent longer here. Thank you for having us :)

Absolutely lovely stay! Rachel was a brilliant host and would reply to any messages straight away. The location was amazing and private, in a really good location & had gorgeous views. Really comfy bed, has everything you need. Also love the idea of no WiFi !

Beautiful place to stay with beautiful scenery! The boys are absolutely beautiful and the goats are such a vibe!! Well worth the money.

Very easy to find, the location is stunning with a lovely dog friendly walk direct from the cabin. Host kept everything very simple for our check in which we appreciated and allowed us to check in early. Has some animals that provide hours of entertainment watching the goats bang heads and the Alpacas trotting around. The gas BBQ is perfect for cooking up a quick meaty storm. My partner also commented on how fresh and clean the bed linen was. Overall a lovely stay and would recommend to any couple wanting to get away for some peace and quiet.

Wonderful Shepherds Hut set in the most beautiful location.Perfect weekend away. Sue couldn’t have been more helpful and would definitely recommend this little gem for anyone staying in the Peak District.
