Andrew and Ann welcome you to our beautiful Victorian age Bed and Breakfast, in the centre of Ambleside, The Lake District. We are situated in the centre of Ambleside, but off the main road. There are many fantastic restaurants and bars right on our doorstep as well as lots of the Lake Districts most scenic hiking trails. Bed and breakfast in a beautiful location; on the edge of Porthleven a seaside village and five minutes for the coast in the car, or twenty minutes on foot. Tucked in a quiet rural location, surrounded by fields , in a cute hamlet. It is also possible to book private yoga sessions ( I am a qualified Iyengar Yoga teacher) while staying at the Chimes , in my purpose built on site studio, please message and enquire if interested in booking this during your stay. Cobbler's Cottage - peace and seclusion

Brixworth has a long tradition of shoemaking. Cobblers Cottage was where shoes would have been made by homeworkers. The property has its own private balcony with far reaching countryside views. Situated in a colourful garden the cottage has its own access. The prize winning cook/owner provides a superb breakfast which is included. Dinner is available on request. Cobblers is located in an historic part of the village, within walking distance of shops and recreation facilities.

B&B with lovely lochside views

Spacious bedroom with private bathroom, located on the lochside of a lovely Highland village, close to Eilean Donan Castle and the Isle of Skye. The bedroom has stunning views of the loch and surrounding mountains. A cooked breakfast is served in a bright open plan kitchen with homemade toasted bread and homemade jam, and freshly brewed coffee and tea. Good parking available. Within walking distance of the castle and the local pub, which serves excellent food.
