We have been staying at the Parsonage now for 5 years and it became our favorite place when we visit VA. Anne is a very generous hostess and she continues to upgrade the house and make it even more comfortable! The mountain views are gorgeous anytime of the year! We love her place, the details, the books, the artwork and the view! We hope to be back soon!

My family enjoyed staying here for a fun weekend in Charlottesville. It was a quick, easy drive to Charlottesville and other local attractions. We traveled with our 8 month old baby and our in-laws and everyone felt right at home! The sun room was a perfect spot for family time. The hosts were mindful about having plenty of toiletries and snacks for guests. We definitely recommend staying here!

Stayed here for a fun weekend in Morgantown. Highly recommend, by far the cheapest AirBnb we found and is amazing for the price. Maria is a delight to work with. She answered any questions we had very quickly. She even left us a surprise after 2 people in our group canceled on us. Thank you Maria!!

My family loved the house! It's lovely with large rooms! Great kitchen and dining area! We loved the porch and property! So thankful to be able to take our dog too!

The house was very comfortable. We loved all the natural light coming in through the large windows. The views were spectacular. We awakened to beautiful sunrises and the distant sounds of the cows in the pasture. The grounds were beautifully kept, and we were in awe of the history that resonated there. Chris and Anita were genuinely friendly and helpful. We especially loved visiting their pond, sitting on the porches, bird watching, and the special touches of food items in the kitchen, and the spa-like feel of the bathrooms. We left Union, wishing we had more time to spend at this property. We will definitely be returning.

Sarah went above and beyond to make us feel like family staying in her guest house. From the special delivery of wood for a campfire to a one on one education on fibers we felt so special. The surroundings were beautiful and location so peaceful and relaxing. We loved getting to know all the animals from the alpacas to the barn cats. The house was lovely and full of character. Sarah provided the ingredients for a lovely breakfast even including oranges to make fresh squeezed juice with her press and a pan of local cinnamon buns. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! We had an amazing weekend away on the farm!

This was my second time visiting. Sandra made every effort to make it feel like like home. Everything was wonderful. Great time again.

Irene is very responsive and helpful. We spend a great weekend with family and friends! We did kayaking and fishing. Irene provided great advice to us about how to find the best fishing spot. The house is clean and beautiful. The nice patio also includes a gas grill for who wants to BBQ. THIS PLACE IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for who want play around water! Definitely will come back.

Great location! Host is excellent and very responsive. We spent 5 nights and always felt like we came “home” at night. The bed was very comfortable as was the entire space. Only negative, our feet hurt from walking the hills! Ha, no negatives, stay with Emi and you will be happy you did.

My family and I really enjoyed staying here and would definitely visit again. Having a full kitchen to feed my college student a healthy meal was wonderful! The location was private and quiet and definitely worth the trip.

Beth & Stephen were super friendly and responsive...made us feel very welcome. Great informative YouTube videos on check in and parking also, which help a ton if you're not familiar with the area. Booked the apt for my husband while he was on a work trip and he said the bed was EXTREMELY comfortable and he slept like a baby. Will stay again for sure...looking forward to the next trip when I can stay myself!

Adorable space just perfect for a weekend stay. We were in town for a concert at ting pavilion and it was about 20 minute drive to downtown area which is where we spent most of our time exploring places to eat and night life. The space was VERY clean and Bianca is an exceptional host who communicates well and added wonderful touches like wine and some breakfast foods. Great value and I would definitely stay again!

Fun weekend trip! I was in Staunton for a show at the American Shakespeare Center and stayed an extra day to explore the area. It just happened to be opening weekend for the farmer's market as well as the start of the outdoor shopping/dining season on Beverley Street. Martha's place is the perfect central location for exploring this very walkable town - I enjoyed seeing the Woodrow Wilson Museum (and garden in the back with lots of spring flowers blooming), Mary Baldwin campus, Trinity Church, etc. Martha's apartment is so comfy and clean, and has all the amenities. The bed is amazingly comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped, and the living room couch/tv setup is nice for relaxing with a show or movie in the evening. There are so many little touches throughout the apartment that let you know that Martha has thought of everything to make her guests feel at home. I can't say enough about this charming place and wonderful host!

We just fell in love with the historic Churchill neighborhood and Sue’s place is a wonderful place to stay. We brought our dog and Sue always left him a full water bowl and treats in the courtyard. The apartment is in a historic building and has both a beautiful courtyard and private balcony with the apartment. We loved walking around the neighborhood with our dog which had a park nearby which overlooks the river. Within walking distance are a coffee shop and many different restaurants and lunch places to choose from. We always had a parking spot right in front and drove around the city without any problems. We highly recommend Sue’s place!

Angelica is an excellent host, very clear with communications and quick to respond to questions. The space was perfect, well equipped, clean and comfortable. There’s a lot of love scattered throughout the space with snacks, drinks, pet treats and other little essentials. We will stay here again….

Loved our stay at the Graham Ordinary! The location was great, very peaceful and close to many trails for hiking and not to far from the downtown area for food and drinks. Our hosts were very friendly and gave us recommendations for nature activities and local spots to grab a bite! They also gave us the pleasure of sampling quite a few of their delicous Meads that they make themselves! 10/10...highly recommend and would not hesitate to stay here again if we are in the area :)

Jo Ann’s place will make you feel welcomed and at home in Clifton Forge. Host was kind and willing to take me in and show me around this cute quaint town. I definitely hope to return to the Red Lantern Inn again soon. I fell in love with the town and hope to return as often as possible. The bed was incredibly comfortable. More comfortable than Hilton beds, I must say.

Wanda was the absolute best! We’ve stayed at many places in Lynchburg over the years. The Acorn Hill Lodge will be our go to spot from now on. From the super amazing cozy king size bed, to the absolutely delicious made to order complementary breakfast to our pup being welcomed like a member of the family. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Oh, and the spa!!! My daughter had the full body hot stone massage and was in heaven!! This place is a must!!

What a fun stay! We got to witness the most beautiful sunrise I have ever seen here. The animals on the farm are so friendly. I was able to take my dog for the stay and he met bigger animals for the first time and they became friends instantly. I loved what they have done with opening up the family farm to enjoy. It was very personable and they made us feel like family. The homemade country breakfast was also one of my favorites. We were visiting the area hiking and decided to stay since it was a few hours away and I am glad we were able to stay here. Although our visit was short, it was sweet. Thank you for welcoming my family.. beautiful stay.

This was a perfect stay for us! Keith was a generous and responsive host who immediately made us feel right at home. The space was super clean and location convenient for our evening event. Keith greeted us in person and we especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast and friendly conversation in the morning. Easy parking, clear and detailed messages, and the kindness of Keith contributed to a wonderful memory. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

This was one of my most positive AirBnB experiences ever, and I've had a lot of really good ones. Denise and Mark were very proactive in their communication, so we knew exactly what to expect when we needed to. They were entirely flexible about our check-in time, and the space was supremely conducive to relaxation for a long weekend. We enjoyed breakfast brought to our room every morning. We spent time playing cards and other games in the beautiful living/drawing room on the main level on one evening and one afternoon. We enjoyed extra post-breakfast coffee from the coffee station on the main floor, along with evening-time chamomile tea. We were walking distance from historic homes and a historic cemetery, and we really enjoyed 4 great restaurants in the vicinity, and picked up some items at the lovely nearby Good Natured grocery. It was a quick walk to and from the train station. The bed was super comfortable and we had a great time. Highly recommend!
