Die kleine Wohnung befindet sich im Ergeschoss des Handwerkerhauses meiner Großeltern. Sie war die Werkstatt des Lederhosenmachers Melder in Füssen. Sie ist etwas für Liebhaber von altertümlichen, urigen Gemäuern. Die Wohnung liegt vor den Toren von Füssen an einem Hang hinauf zur Stadtmauer. In wenigen Gehminuten befindet man sich mitten in der Altstadt mit ihrem geschäftigen Treiben oder aber in der malerischen Berglandschaft des Ostallgäus.

Dort, wo damals separate Gästezimmer waren, befindet sich heute eine neu renovierte lichtdurchflutete 100qm 3-Zimmer-Dachgeschosswohnung mit Bergblick, in der ich jetzt lebe.
