I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting Bologna. We stayed for 3 weeks and felt right at home from day one. The location is brilliant very walkable into the centre or to the local shops. It is very peaceful and you feel in a real community. The apartment likewise had everything you would need for longer stays and we felt upset to leave. Great host who is really responsive.

From a long retired couple... Very enjoyable week's stay during September in Ruth's spacious, clean, comfortable and comprehensively equipped, family oriented villa. Ideal base for local hiking (which we didn't) and surprisingly well located, given its fairly remote position, for sampling good quality nearby restaurants (which we did). Good scope for cultural and shopping trips: eg. Bologna, Faenza, Dozza (delightful) and outlet centres incl. Barberino (convenient and extensive). We found Ruth to be a very welcoming, helpful and accessible host with a ready wealth of local knowledge - a much underrated asset that certainly enhanced our visit. 6Stanco - go for it!

“Nuestra estancia fue excelente. El apartamento es tal como se muestra en las fotos, muy limpio, bien equipado y en una ubicación inmejorable, cerca de todo lo necesario para disfrutar de la ciudad. La comunicación con el anfitrión fue rápida y fluida en todo momento. En general, muy cómodo, aunque la cama del salón podría ser un poco más confortable. Aun así, nuestra experiencia fue muy positiva y sin duda lo recomendaríamos. ¡Gracias por todo!”

Almost everything was great, especially the kitchen and bathroom. Since Italy has stringent recycling and garbage disposal rules, it was unfortunate that the apartment did not have presort bins. Worse yet, the previous tenant lost the key card needed to dispose of miscellaneous waste (i.e. stuff that isn't simple paper, plastic, glass, or organic - which is more than one would think) so we needed to be rather creative about that. It would have been better had we been told about it ahead of time. The other oddity was that the dining table had only one chair, making it an awkward arrangement for two people. The kitchen counter had two stools but we needed that space for makeshift recycling bins. The apartment faces the courtyard which avoids all street noise but not air conditioning unit noise should you want to leave the window open. It's a 15 minute walk to the train station but 25 minutes to the old city center. However, bus service is plentiful. All in all, we would stay here again.

Alessandra & Ludovico have created something truly special. Their land, home, and way of welcoming guests radiate care and warmth. You can feel this place was built with love and vision. Their hospitality is unmatched. They picked us up from the station, lent toys for our little kid, and helped arrange excellent e-bikes. Exploring the green hills at our own pace was perfect. Every route was beautiful – full of spring scents and wildflowers. We rode nearly every path, but the view from the house was the most breathtaking. The house is spacious, minimalist yet cosy and stylish. Outside are several seating areas surrounded by birdsong. One clear night, we soaked in the hot tub under the stars. It’s inspiring to see what they’re building together. There’s space here, and a deep sense of welcome. A place that stays with you – where everything fits, and you find yourself wishing for just one more day. And then there’s Cheeta, the dog. Even if you’re not a dog person, you’ll miss her!

Vittorio and Rosa Maria were the perfect hosts and couldn’t do enough for us. Vittorio provided great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit including a winery and cheese making factory. Also we had a fantastic meal cooked by Rosa Maria. It is a good base to visit other cities such as Modena and Parma (and others) by road or by train. The house was spacious, well equipped and felt like more like a family home with books, comfortable sofas a lovely sitting room and bedrooms. We very much enjoyed our stay and had a great holiday. La signora è stata fin da subito disponibilissima per ogni nostra esigenza. Simpaticissima, ha sempre trovato il tempo di una chiacchiera con noi e si è assicurata che non ci mancasse nulla. Lei e la sua famiglia ci hanno accolti calorosamente. La sua casa è accogliente e molto funzionale. Zona perfetta per chi ha bisogno di scappare dalla frenesia della città.
