We had a wonderful time at the Sasagirian Calligraphy Class and would highly recommend to others visiting Okinawa. The workshop was a highlight of our trip and felt a privilege to attend with great company from the passionate, kind and attentive teachers and staff. The calligraphy teacher was informative, patient and enthusiastic and we had a great time learning the correct methods of writing. We were able to practice and learn writing different kanji characters before our final piece which we signed with our names and took home.

We would like to say a big thank you to the Sasagirian team for making us feel so welcome and providing a great atmosphere and workshop. This is an experience we will always remember and look back on fondly. Thank you

I had the most wonderful experience taking part in this tea ceremony. Even though I joined alone, I was warmly welcomed and felt completely comfortable throughout. The entire atmosphere was peaceful, thoughtful, and beautifully arranged.

Every detail of the ceremony was carried out with so much care and love. It was clear how much passion went into sharing this part of Japanese culture.

I have done another tea ceremony here in Okinawa at a different location and I feel like this one exceeds that! It was a beautiful location & the staff was so kind and helpful with the process! I heard there was other things to do culturally there so I would love to go back and experience it all!

That was a great experience that we were happy to have. The ladies were very knowledgeable and kind. The details you need to pay attention to make it very unique. It was very artistic. Our daughter (8yo) enjoyed it too.
