Hello! My name is Gary Burkhalter and I grew up in the Bay Area near San Francisco, California. For the past 21 years, I’ve been living and working in Japan. I love the outdoors and creative thinking as well as surfing around the world meeting new people and experiencing new cultures! When in a new country, it’s usually best to keep your eyes and ears open absorbing all that you can for a lifetime of memories!!
