Rob & Carol were incredible hosts! They thought of everything when putting together Moonshine! My husband, dog, and myself had an amazing trip and highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful view that never got old! Ron and Carole were very responsive and the house was immaculate. Such thoughtful touches throughout the house. 10/10!

Cozy, convenient, completely outfitted, the Kern River House was exactly what we were looking for in a fall riverside retreat. The house is extremely well appointed and clearly loved by the owners. Not sure what we loved most: fireside morning coffee, wine out on the private deck, fly fishing mere steps away, or the semi-private beach on the river. We will happily return for a spring visit next time!

From booking to checking out, Carol & Rod made the whole experience so wonderful! They included a lock guide book which was helpful to get around. Such amazing hosts, and the home.. just wow! It was such a lovely experience! We will definitely stay again.
