We had a great time during our Stay in Newport. The location is excellent and in close proximity to Thames Street, Bannisters Wharf and all the restaurants and bars in the area. Parking with the unit was a big plus, as it is quite difficult to find parking in Newport and once you find a spot, it’s not cheap.
We had the chance to meet our Host Mary who had a lot of recommendations for things to do and places to visit. She was very welcoming and responsive as well. We even got to meet her Dachshund puppy, which was an unexpected surprise.

This location is close to everything in Newport (walking distance or a 5 minute drive). The neighborhood streets are beautiful/walkable. I enjoyed a morning stroll to a park along the water with a gorgeous view of the bridge, just a couple blocks down. Just two more blocks from there and I was having a delightful brunch at Belle’s cafe along the harbor. The parking space in the driveway is a huge plus since street parking is tricky. The apartment itself is modern, clean, cozy, and peaceful. It’s decorated beautifully! It was bright during the day and very quiet/dark at night. There is a pretty view of traditional New England style gardens and roof tops from every window. The bedding was super comfy. There is a mini fridge and breakfast tray. I brought my own food and enjoyed breakfast in bed. The bathroom is like a spa. Mary was so communicative/timely with her responses. She shared some wonderful ideas and suggestions. I didn’t want to leave. I even stayed an extra night. Such a gem!

We had such a wonderful experience staying in Mary's home during our trip to Newport. The neighborhood is beautiful, quiet, and close to town. Mary's apartment is decorated beautifully and helped make our trip even more memorable!

We loved our stay in Newport. Mary’s apartment is a short walk from so many great restaurants and shops - yet located in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood loaded with gorgeous old colonial homes. Off-street parking was a bonus and living space was bright and really comfortable. We would definitely go back!
