fevereiro de 2017I loved Rima's place so much I extended my stay a few more months. I travel a lot for work and finding a place like this is rare. The apartment is perfect and I have enjoyed exploring the area. It is right next to a train station and perfect for anyone looking for a spot in Brooklyn. She is the wonderful roommate and host. I am looking forward to staying at Rima's place longer and highly recommend it to everyone. It is definitely my favorite Airbnb.

agosto de 2016Rima and her boyfriend Tyler are really great. They welcomed us very kindly and gave recommendations about restaurants and shops in the area.
The apartment is awesome. And the central air condition was really helpful during our stay due to the high temperatures.
Besides the apt is close to various bus and subway stations and that makes it easy to go to Manhattan and for example Rockaway beach.
We really enjoyed our stay in New York.

agosto de 2016Our stay at Rima's Bedford–Stuyvesant apartment was probably the smartest and most affordable choice made during the entirely of our vacation. Let's start from the beginning. Rima is very prompt. She will respond to your question pre, during and post-stay promptly. Simply amazing. I wish Marriott and Hilton were as responsive. Upon contacting for pre-approval, Rima greeted us with a friendly message and a few follow-up questions; soon after we booked. The day prior, Rima messaged us regarding arrival information. The next day, she sent another message and let us know she would be there to greet us. She also confirmed that she would provide an air mattress as we needed two beds; a great benefit to us that was not advertised. Awesome. From LaGuradia Airport, it takes about 20 minutes to get to the apartment and cost ~$25 via Uber. Not a bad deal. Upon arrival; she gave a 3-minute tour, the keys, and some local recommendations. That's it. Wait, you were expecting more? Well, I don't want to cheat you out of some great reading so here's a little bit more to whet your appetite. The apartment is clean and well kept. Great wood floors with an open kitchen and eating area. The pictures are very accurate. I did not venture into the backyard, but you can see it from the room with all the amenities for relaxing on a weekend. You have full access to the kitchen and can make your meals or dine out. The choice is yours. As advertised, there are two bathrooms, one upstairs (shared) and one downstairs (private). Both the bedroom and private bath have amenity bags on the door for your use; it is a nice touch. The shower is fantastic, with just the right amount of water pressure; it is not Kramer's Commando 450 (ref. Seinfeld, episode #126). Central heating and air are available, although I did not have need of it during my stay as I came up north from the Sweaty South. You can open up the windows or use the A/C (just remember to close the windows). It's your prerogative. You are within walking distance of the Nostrand-Bedford subway line. From there you can get to Manhattan using the G and number 7 train. If you want to get the full New York Experience, you can walk from the apartment to the Brooklyn Bridge and into Manhattan. The bridge is about 3 miles away, and if you are in pretty good shape, you can walk there in less than an hour. My morning run put me there at under 25 minutes. While you can Uber or catch a taxi, I recommend using the subway and buying an unlimited card for the time you are there; you will save a lot of money if you plan on frequenting a lot of tourist attractions. Brooklyn is very walk-friendly, and there are plenty of bodegas (corner stores), bars, delis and small restaurants. Downtown Brooklyn is within walking distance too. If you...
