Generally our hipster district, the Mission is really a mish-mash of culture ranging from immigrants, long term residents, hipsters and yuppies are living side-by-side. It's known for it's wide range of food, ranging from high-end restaurants to authentic taquerias. Spend your time tasting coffee, exploring fancy cocktails, to enjoying all the colorful street art and murals in the area.

No trip to San Francisco is complete without a visit to one of the city's oldest and most vibrant neighborhoods, directly adjacent to Noe Valley. Dog Eared Books, Mission Theater (Alamo Drafthouse), murals in Balmy Alley and on the Women's Building, plus and culinary delights like Dandelion Chocolate, Tartine bakery, Loló, La Taqueria and more.

We made an extensive Local Guide, BUT... ...Airbnb is a little behind in the times and doesn't allow hosts to upload their guides or just share a link. We found a workaround though ;) - After booking with us, you can find a link to a working Google doc in your Arrival Guide. Just click on "Things to know (instructions and house rules)", and you'll see a link that you can copy and paste in your browser of choice.

This neighborhood has good food, along with San Francisco's oldest standing building. We recommend Lolinda and Foreign Cinema.
