Prenzlauer Berg is just around the corner. There are many small shops and restaurants that are distributed almost evenly. In the east of Prenzlauer Berg is the Wins Viertel (Hufelandstraße) with nice small shops and gastro. Or you can walk along the Kastanienallee towards the center. There is a lot to see along Oderberger Straße or around Helmholtzplatz. Just follow your nose.
