The downstairs apartment is available for AirBnB guests. Our home is on the lake in the Foothills of NC with water sports in our back yard. Great atmosphere, views, lake, and R&R. The apartment includes one bedroom (1 king size bed, 1 queen foam mattress), a living room, an entertainment area with pool table and darts. It also has a full private bath. The apartment steps out onto a private lower deck overlooking the lake. Our place is good for couples, adventurers, business people, and families.

It has a heated indoor pool so even in the winter time you can enjoy the water with view of the lake. There is a dock as well. So if you happen to want to enjoy the lake, you can. You’ll love my place because of peaceful, natural, creative sensibilities throughout this newly renovated apartment - a blend of interesting and unique elements from my travels. This space is perfect for anyone looking for solace, and a respite from the everyday life.

Catch bass from the deck! This cozy cabin sits on a 100 year old rock retaining wall and overlooks a 1 acre pond. Feels like you are in the mountains but only a 10 minute drive from Hickory. Functional bathroom w/ running hot water and climate controlled living space. Kitchenette with small refrigerator and microwave. The large front deck has lighting and a gas grill for cooking out. Plenty of wildlife around including deer, fox, & various birds.
