Ruth’s place was amazing. Perfectly clean and new looking. Easy to get to and find. Beautiful sea view. Private and quiet. Ruth was really responsive to questions. Sunny bedrooms and giant living room windows overlooking the beach. Steps away from the bus stop into Edinburg and a couple of blocks to the grocery stores. Very clean and comfortable beds and bedding and furniture. Everything was there that was needed including kitchen ware. Toiletry supplies. Hair dryer. Great vacation.

Thank you Pier and Monica for a truly wonderful stay at the fabulous studio! It was the perfect place for me during my long visit to Edinburgh, and I loved the weeks I spent there. Everything was excellent from the efficient and thoughtful design of the space, to all the amenity items to make the stay comfortable, to the Superhost who was so welcoming from the very first message and always available with local tips and recommendations. I thought the location was great and really quick to access the city centre. I could make a long, long list of all the things I enjoyed at this Airbnb if there wasn't a word count limit! It was so very clean. It had wonderful natural light. It is clear that a lot of thought and care goes into this studio. Pier and Monica have done an amazing job!

Camila a été très sympathique et réactive aux messages. Elle est arrangeante sur les heures d’arrivée et de départ. Les informations sont claires. Et elle s’est se faire discrète au quotidien. Logement avec une chambre privée, ménage fait et petites attentions en plus qui sont les bienvenues 😊 malgré la présence de trois chats, le logement est propre. Au passage, les chats sont adorables et très amicaux. Depuis Edinburgh il suffit de prendre un train et de marcher un peu. Environ 30-40 min pour le trajet Édimbourg-son domicile et inversement. Cela reste correct et facile à faire. Parfaite alternative et moins cher qu’un hébergement à Édimbourg le week-end. Merci encore Camila

Very good spot, short walk to the seaside. The host was very helpful and welcoming. Bedroom very clean, good bed and clean towels where supplied. Host given good suggestions on parking and places to visit in Edinburgh. Would definitely come back. Highly recommended

We were a group of 6 and the moment we walked into house, we all felt like home. A spacious home with an outstanding interior design, super cosy. The kitchen was well staffed (best kitchen we‘ve ever had in an Airbnb). For the first morning David and his wife left us everything we needed for a proper breakfast. Thanks again for letting us stay at your beautiful home 😊 Absolutely recommended.

We stayed couple of nights at Sonia’a place with our little kid. The flat is very central and walking distance to everything. Rooms are good size with a large bathroom. We found the flat very clean and neat. Everything was like in the photos. The hosts are very responsive and helpful. One of my best Airbnb experiences ever.

Eine schöne Unterkunft unweit von Edinburgh. Diese Unterkunft ist schön gelegen, mit einer tollen Aussicht. Nach Edinburgh fährt man mit dem Auto zwischen 15-30 min., je nachdem wo man parken will und wie der Verkehr ist. Um Parkplätze zu finden haben wir die App „JustPark“ genutzt. Die hatte ich in Schottland entdeckt und die war sehr hilfreich. Vom Flughafen fährt man etwa 15 min mit dem Auto zur Unterkunft. Etwas aufpassen muss man, dass man die Einfhart nicht verpasst, im dunklen ist sie schwer zu erkennen. Da wäre sicherlich eine Art Reflektor hilfreich. Einen Parkplatz gibt es auch direkt an der Unterkunft, es wäre sogar Platz für mehrere Autos. Die Unterkunft ist sehr gut ausgestattet und man hat alles, was man zum schlafen und kochen benötigt. Wir waren zu dritt dort (meine Frau, ihr Bruder und ich) und wir hatten auch kein Problem damit, dass alles in einem Zimmer war (beide Betten und Küche). Es ist schön gemütlich und hat sich wie ein zuhause angefühlt. Vielen Dank!

A brilliant place to stay as a small family. It’s not slap bang in Edinburgh but all the better for it: blissfully quiet (you really cannot hear the airport), a genuinely beautiful garden to relax in, but just 5 minutes drive from the free park and ride, which is 20 minutes into central Edinburgh. And made all the better by hosting from Robert, who was super friendly, a genuine pleasure to chat to, but without being at all intrusive. Would firmly recommend.

What a lovely place to stay! The house is set out great for a large group/ family stay. Everything is well looked after and great attention to detail. The views from the windows are great and it's a lovely setting. I would definitely recommend and would stay again!

Lovely apartment on the outskirts of Edinburgh. One bus ride from airport or city center. Peaceful area. Beautiful apartment with lots of space. Nice beach walk close to the apartment. We enjoyed staying there and would definitely book again when we come to visit this wonderful City.

this place is a dream, you are steps away from the seashore promenade of Portobello where everything is happening, while also being very close (very short bus or car ride) from the city center. Callum’s space is so beautiful and homey at the same time. really feels like your own little home. I also loved the communal garden outside. it was the most beautiful little nook sprawling with forget me nots and all kinds of other flowers, the perfect place to have a cup of tea or coffee and re center after the bustle of the city. can’t recommend enough. would absolutely come back & stay again if I ever get the chance. El alojamiento de Dorothy nos pareció excelente. Ubicación a 10 minutos a pie del Royal Mile. Sitio tranquilo y agradable. Limpieza, menaje y todo los servicios necesario excelente. La ducha perfecta y con todo lo necesario. La comunicación genial con Dorothy, sin problema para dejar el equipaje el día de vuelo de vuelta, en todo momento estuvo atenta a cualquier demanda. Sin duda lo recomiendo para pasar unos días en esta bonita ciudad. Muchas gracias por todo Dorothy.

We had a fantastic stay at Andrew’s place! The apartment was spacious, cozy, and perfectly complemented the chilly Edinburgh weather—it felt like a warm and welcoming retreat after a day of exploring. The location was super convenient, with a bus stop right outside the building, making it easy to get around the city. Andrew was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay, always quick to answer any questions. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Edinburgh!

Catherine’s place was lovely!! It was beautiful, private and with incredible surroundings. Catherine had breakfast ready for us for the next day and even offered earlier check in! Everything was prepared with such loving care and it made us feel at home. Local jam, fresh marmellate, crispy bread, tea, coffees, porridge, cereals it was so thoughtful! Gave plenty of local recommendations and on the last day her husband even gave us a lift to the nearby town to get a train! They went above and beyond and I would go back and recommend it in a heartbeat! If you’re looking for a city escape or just an immersion in nature, there is no better place out there!

Saved our holiday! We arrived a day earlier than expected but had forgotten to change the dates of our accommodation meaning we had nowhere to stay. I contacted Sylvia and thanks to her fast response we were able to be sorted and at hers within the hour! She was super friendly and the apartment was comfortable and spacious with everything we needed, she’s even warmed it up for us as the weather had turned cooler. I ended up doing a walk at nearby Lanark to see the Falls of Clyde, such a beautiful place! Thank you Sylvia.
