There are several accessible transportation options nearby including the WMATA metro, Shuttle-UM, Anacostia Trail System, and e-scooters. We also have bikes available for guest use. Our neighborhood features a park with game courts, exercise equipment, and a playground.

Suburban Sanctuary

My home is in a quiet, safe, suburban neighborhood, approximately 20 minutes from Washington DC and 15 minutes from downtown Silver Spring. The closest Metro station is an 8 minute drive. It is a large two level ranch style home. Your bedroom and private bathroom will be on the main level where you enter the home. The kitchen, dining and living room reserved for guests is on the lower level which is above ground with a sliding glass door leading to the back patio. Driveway parking is available.

Private room with huge queen size bed! Recently remodeled room and bathroom in great location just around a mile from the metro station! Enjoy lots of privacy: there is no room next to you and the house is well insulated for noise! The shower wall is on the outside of the house so you wont hear that either when I take a shower! Lots of amenities including blackout curtains, dedicated workspace, microwave and mini fridge, coffee maker and hot water kettle, bedside charging tables, and more!
