The lodge, 3 bedroom cottage

A homely cottage attached to the barns of the main hall , with private parking and your own access. It is a perfect base for hill walking and cycling . The lodge is surrounded by the fabulous Shropshire hills, a mile to the nearest pub yet just 10-15 minute away from the centre of Shrewsbury. There is a private seating area outside the front of the lodge and access to the pony paddocks if you have a dog that needs a run! Next door is the Nook so why not book there to if you need more room

Located in the beautiful town centre, within a few minutes walk of the Quarry Park, Castle, shops and restaurants. If arriving by train, it’s a ten minute walk to the house. There are multiple car parks within a few minutes walk. There is an outdoor secure storage area, perfect for bikes. It’s an ideal location for exploring fabulous Shrewsbury and the surrounding area.

Off-grid living, high in the Shropshire Hills

The Garden Room is a private, cosy, off-grid apartment that's perfect for couples in search of a quiet break or looking to explore the area. It has basic kitchen facilities along with a king size bed, a wood burning stove and a piping hot shower. We have reliable wifi, no tv and an ok mobile signal. Lovely up here this time of year and plenty of wildlife to be seen; deer in the garden, swallows zooming about, the other morning I saw two hares leaping and sparring in the front yard - just great.

It is well-equipped with a quality kitchen area, dining area and sitting area with Wi-Fi and Sky TV. The bedroom has a large double bed and plenty of storage space. This is a great location for lovers of both town and country. Only a short distance to the magnificent Shropshire Hills which offer excellent hiking and cycling and also only a short drive to Shrewsbury Town Centre which is famous for its medieval buildings, Norman castle and Abbey. The town is great for shopping and socialising and hosts a large number of independent retailers, excellent restaurants, traditional pubs and cocktail bars. We have good internet access and a smart TV.

A very central location within easy walking distance of Shrewsbury town centre, the award winning indoor market, Theatre Severn, the Quarry Park, River Severn, railway and bus stations. Nearby there is a local shop, pubs and restaurants and the bus stops outside the house.

The Summerhouse Tower is a very special holiday-home-for-two set within the rolling Shropshire countryside. A Grade II listed tower, this unique, romantic retreat enjoys excellent views to the east, and views of the Shropshire Hills to the south and the west. The Tower, built circa 1607, was originally used as a banqueting house for entertaining dinner guests. Whilst the main house was destroyed by a fire, The Summer House is available for cosy stays throughout the year.
