Step back in time with this original 1890s Appalachian solar powered off grid cabin. The cabin has been renovated with all the modern conveniences: solar-powered and includes hot water, gas stove, full bathroom w/ shower, refrigerator, sleeper sofa folds out to queen size bed. With each stay fresh towels and linens are furnished. Kitchen, hot/cold kitchen sink, K cup friendly coffee machine and more! Covered front porch with bench and 2 rockers. Off the porch is a picnic table and gas grill.

This is a peaceful cabin located just minutes to Boone, Blowing Rock and West Jefferson. Relax and enjoy the scenic views, tall trees and sounds of the nearby creek! There are numerous hikes in the area and other outdoor activities such as kayaking, skiing, apple-picking and Christmas Tree cutting. Our Whitewater cabin has two bedrooms with queen beds, one full bathroom, and sleeps four guests. The cabin faces the river and has a great view of a tranquil swimming hole from the porch. The back of the cabin is just steps from the Creeper Trail. This cabin boasts a well-stocked kitchen, a family room/dining area, a covered porch with a gas grill, AC, Smart Tv with satellite and Wi-Fi. It is one mile to Abingdon Vineyard , and 1.2 miles to the Alvarado Station on the Virginia Creeper Trail , and 10 mins to the Barter theater . Enjoy the Blueridge Mountains where you can hike bike and fish . And unwind to great view from covered porch . There are 7 step to enter with plenty of free parking. We are dog friendly limit 2 bowls and bed provided .

Our cabin is walking distance to Bristol Motor Speedway as well as South Holston River. There is a slipway for boat access 0.9 miles away.

Explore the creek, relax in the sauna, and enjoy the privacy of a secluded, two-acre tract adjoining the Jefferson National Forest, near Grayson Highlands’ wild ponies and White Top’s famed Creeper Trail. Bring your slingshots, sit on boulders, and warm yourself by one of two natural-stone fire pits. Help yourself to Starlink Wi-Fi and Roku to stream your favorite shows. This is one of the most untouched areas in America.

Scott Hill Cabin #1

This is our third cabin built by hand. It has a kitchen with a stove, fridge, microwave and coffee pot. It also has basic cooking necessities. The cabin has a full size bed. The restroom has a sink and stand up shower. We will provide towels and linens. We are pet friendly, but request prior knowledge. We are just minutes from 2 separate trailheads to the Appalachian Trail.

Raven Ridge at the Channels, great views, hot tub!

Raven Ridge Lodge is a unique and wonderful retreat located on a mountain top in a natural rhododendron garden. It makes a great base for visiting the Channels Natural area. Take a hike, and then relax in the hot tub. The views are spectacular. My guests tell me my photos don't do justice to the mountain top. Come and see for yourself!
