Nestled among the trees at the top of the ridge of Bell Mountain is our lovely cabin, aptly named The Whip-poor-will's Roost. These bird's distinctive calls can be heard in the early evening hours, a complimentary soundbite to the fresh mountain air. About 20 mi. from the Blue Ridge parkway, and looking out over + surrounded by Stone Mountain State Park and the Doughton Recreational area, this log cabin offers a peaceful getaway with ample access to the outdoors (including our own 18 acres).

Kelley Acres comprises 18 acres in Roaring River, NC. nestled within wine country, trout streams, hunting, rafting & golf, and 5 miles from Stone Mountain. The cabins are dated to the mid 1800's and can accommodate 6 comfortably. Full kitchen, 2 baths,laundry, A/C, Gas fireplace, the Master cabin has a Queen Cedar log bed, Living Cabin has Queen AirSoft sleeper sofa "awesome sleep" and loft with 2 single beds and room for more. Perfect for couples and families that want to slow down a bit.

Hurricane Helene Update: We are incredibly fortunate that our property did not suffer damage from the storm and the main roads to and from our home are accessible. Internet and power have been restored, and our property is ready to offer a lovely refuge for anyone needing a temporary place to stay. We are devastated by the losses experienced in Western NC and encourage any locals to reach out with a message prior to booking if you want to spend a few days at the Hemlock. We want to help.

Sleeping Bear Cabin - Blue Ridge Mountains

Sleeping Bear Cabin is nestled away in a private mountain community that has it's own lake and just a two minute drive to the New River at the entrance of the community. The cabin is surrounded by forest with a main deck and an upper deck. Just recently remodeled and redecorated, we designed Sleeping Bear to be the perfect place for anyone to enjoy the mountain life. Fishing, walking, biking, hiking, tubing, kayaking, bird, butterfly, wildlife watchers and 35 -45 minutes to skiing.

Hilltop Haven

Cozy log cabin home centrally located in Western North Carolina about 40 minutes to Boone/Blowing Rock and 1.5 hours to Asheville and Charlotte. Amazing views in this private and gated mountain community. Enjoy the fresh mountain air as you walk down to community waterfall or take a five minute drive to the public swimming beach on Kerr Lake. Out of the Blue Cabin cabin is a 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath cabin located in quaint West Jefferson, NC. With stunning views, Out of the Blue Cabin is the perfect little getaway spot to relax and unwind from life's demands. It comfortably sleeps 5-6 (5 in beds and can accomodate an additional sleeper on the couch in the living room), has a fully functioning kitchen, gas grill, WiFi, TV, all with a rustic mountain feel.
