A nice Cape Cod Bay beach within walking distance. Check the tides - at low tide you can walk on the sand flats for miles. Great sunset viewing (bring flashlight for walking back).

Both beaches are WONDERFUL!!! Check the tide chart so you know if you're going for a leisurely walk on the mud flats or a nice swim in the warm water!

Brewster. ThIs a nice family beach surrounded by grassy sand dunes. Like most Brewster beaches there are not many facilities there are portable toilets, but, it does have plenty of parking. This is a must go when the tide is low and you can walk for hundreds of yards to explore tide pools. Tide comes in quickly and is fun to walk while the water fills the sand bars. 5 miles away

During high season you can go to this beach and park for free after 4:30 or 5:00. It's a really lovely place to swim and watch the sunset. Off season you can go anytime. If you check for low tide, it's extraordinary how far out the tide goes and you can walk out quite far. It's really very magical. To make the perfect trek, stop at the Brewster Country Store before and gets some treats.
