In the magnificent Botanical Gardens, the memorial is a place of quiet reflection and place to remember loved ones and to mourn the 8600 prisoners of war that died in captivity.

Located at one end of the botanical gardens precinct near the lake. Thousands of names carved in stone commemorating those who were held prisoner in the many wars we have fought in, you may find a relative or friend listed here.
