For quick and fancy groceries, a green juice, cheap-but decent-coffee or a sushi triangle, head to Green Ivy (walk on Union Street to 4th Ave, turn right and walk on block to President Street (you’ll pass a 99cent store on your way that’s surprisingly comprehensive and will probably have a replacement for nearly anything you’ve forgotten to bring.)
