2 minutes away a fascinating walk through technological advances and antiquities from Tellico Plains and surrounding communities. Charles Hall, the insightful community minded gentleman, historian and volunteer mayor for decades gave us all a glimpse of the stages of life, work and culture in South East Tennessee. His love of this tiny town 'the gateway to the Cherokee National Forest' which happens to be the worlds second most diverse Ecosystem is brilliantly on display here.

Tiny but very interesting museum located adjacent to the Cherohala Skyway Visitor Center and packed with a variety of historic items donated by Charles Hall (former mayor of Tellico Plains) and local families. Large gun collection, Native American artifacts, a moonshine still, photos, and other items displayed. A great stop to get a feel for the history of Tellico Plains and the surrounding Appalachian area. And it's free!
