There's a nice small visitors center and great hiking and biking trails. There are also some local outfitters with reasonable canoe and kayak rentals in the area.

it's a beautiful ride, place to fish, see the loons and swans.

The refuge has a 7 mile drive through the refuge to enjoy all the views and look for wildlife. The visitor center provides information on the area. Great area for bird watching and keep a look out for beaver and turtles. Mornings and evenings are when the wildlife is more active.
