Yummy food and some great boutiques. Try oyster happy hour at Escocesa and get takeaway breakfast from The Good Egg for some great people watching in Clissold Park
many fun independent shops, pubs and bars, cafes bakeries and restaurants... Fun for a browse, mainly clothes and shoes, but also violins and stained glass during the daytime. In the evening a good destination if you fancy a wander to choose a local bar and eatery. Also good for a walk in Clissold Park ( has and aviary and dear and a cafe) or Abney Cemetery ( atmospheric and spooky cemetery with a hidden chapel right in the middle)

This is a local high street, just the other side of Clissold Park (so about 15 mins walk away). It's full of boutique shops, lovely cafes and restaurants and excellent pubs.
Church street is the heart of the Hip neighbourhood of Stoke Newington where you will find a combination of design shops, antiques markets, pubs and a number of restaurant options. well worth a stroll across the park for it.
