In terms of hiking your location couldn’t be any better. You are within walking distance to various beautiful hikes and trails, the most well known being The Pipe Track, Lion’s Head and Kloof Corner (a contour path). If you are an avid walker/hiker I would suggest downloading the app maps.me

Table Mountain is a flat-topped mountain forming a prominent landmark overlooking the city of Cape Town in South Africa. It is a significant tourist attraction, with many visitors using the cableway or hiking to the top. The mountain forms part of the Table Mountain National Park.
