The Katy Trail (K - Kansas to T - Texas) is pedestrian trail that winds through Columbia and heads out, well, all the way to Texas, if you keep going. Great for walks, bike riding, running, open all seasons. If you are going for an extended trek, lock valuables in trunk, just because that is a common sense thing to do.

Great trail along the river for waking , hiking, biking. Old train tunnel is cool to visit.

Nearby town with shopping, bike trails and restaurants. Short bike ride to winery on Katy Trail close to Missouri River!
