If you're not afraid of heights (or even if you are), check out the Sandia Peak Tramway, a 15 minute tram ride that takes you to the top of the 10,385-foot Sandia crest which provides a beautiful overview of Albuquerque and the surrounding areas. Depending on the time of year, it can be up to 20+ degrees colder at the peak, so prepare yourself!

The absolute best way to get to know the Sandia Mountains. Unforgettable and breathtaking. Reserve tickets ahead of time, check the weather, take a hike along the crest, and consider visiting TEN 3 at the top. When the Sandia Ski area is open, access the slopes when you step off the tramway platform.
