The National Archaeological Museum Aruba is an archaeological museum in the city of Oranjestad in Aruba. The collections covers from 2500 BCE to the 19th century. In 1981, the Archaeological Museum of Aruba was opened.
You’ll be amazed at what has been preserved in time in Oranjestad town centre in the historic Ecury family home, now a museum. The renovated historic Ecury complex in central Oranjestad has been transformed from a family home to a modern museum that preserves Aruba’s Amerindian cultural heritage.
The oldest part of Aruba's cultural heritage is exhibited in the Archaeological Museum of Aruba. The permanent collection gives the visitor a taste of early periods in the history and pre-history of the island.
