Very busy during summer. Lots of things todo. Very touristy. Catch the tram to the city. Visit the beachouse with the waterslides for the kids in summer. Very popular spot for new years eve.

It's a decent trek but only a tram away, Glenelg is a great beach-side trip that you can easily make a part day or full day trip out of. Great in summer especially!
