Just 2 miles from the cottage, the Wreckers Retreat pub at Hartland Quay is beside the dramatic coast and is an excellent place for enjoying a cocktail while watching the sun sink into the ocean.

This has absolutely SPECTACULAR views. You can walk here but it is a healthy 90 minute walk each way, food is ok (basic UK Pub food) but the views are breathtaking and the walking routes around it equally stunning.
