Gruene Market Days (check calendar) are celebrated occasions around here. Even when the market is not open, this a nice little collection of shops and restaurants and is pedestrian friendly.

Historic Gruene is a must, antique shops, quaint shops, wine tasting, Restaurants on the River-GristMill! Gruene Hall may also have an act you wish to see. Gruene Hall is Texas' oldest dance hall.
