The Wetherspoons is quite special - housed in the old cinema, it has loads of atmosphere (though no natural light unless you sit in the vestibule!). The food is like all Wetherspoons - reasonable and filling - but the staff and atmosphere as well as the enormous size and cosy wood fire make it a really good choice for a cheap eat or a family dinner. It also has a courtyard outside and free wireless.

Proper pub! Sports and food. Thursday night live music. Great atmosphere - great staff and decent beers/ale

I know it's a Whitherspoon Pub, but worth a look. Used to be a cinema. It's Beautiful. That's why we put it in sightseeing. Have a look. And maybe a cheap cheeky gin.

Really good German/English food and drink with sky sports on. kids ok until 8pm..

Yes it's a Wetherspoons pub but its not too bad and cheap!
