There are selection of casual eateries here if you are looking for something quick and easy. Currently open from 3pm to 8pm. Go early to beat the rush in height of summer. Can be an hour wait for burgers from 6.30pm on. Great for the kids and in summer there can be some entrainment going on for the campers. There is also a takeaway coffee place if the village cafe is too busy.

Hahei beach resort has a wonderful area where you can sit and enjoy a quiet drink and order pizza or burgers. the food is delicious and the atmosphere relaxing.
