The small menu focuses on some of Berlin's most traditional specialties, including Eisbein (pork knuckle), and takes its whimsical dish titles from classic legal jargon. (The national courthouse is located around the corner, and the restaurant's name is a rought equivalent of the English idiom "at the eleventh hour.") Real, classic, German food. A little on the expensive side but I guess you should expect to pay a little more to sit in Berlin's oldest operating restaurant (est. 1621). Napoleon enjoyed it!

The oldest restaurant in Berlin which ranks among the sights of the capital. Its origin is in 1621. Cabbage roulade, meatballs and draft beer are served at the 200-year-old tiled stove in the inn and beer garden.
