Beautiful pub in the heart of the Lake District fells, a fair drive from the cottage BUT they do great classic pub food for lunch or dinner so if you are in the area it’s worth dropping in! Booking for evening essential.

Close to Windermere & Ambleside, but off the beaten track, lovely pub, dog & child friendly, lovely walks from pub and Townsend House (National Trust property) to visit too.
