The lake is great in summer for swimming and paddle boarding etc. You can hire boards, bikes and Kayaks in town from several shops.

Summer or winter, Lake Jindabyne offers a picturesque background to a morning walk, spot of exercise, scoot or bike ride along the walkway or splash in the alpine water. One of the reasons we love this town so much is this lake! It hosts an interesting history, covering the old town of Jindabyne that was flooded in 1967. At low tide, you can catch a glimpse of the steeple from the old church. in summer, you can even charter your own sail boat from Lake Jindabyne Sailing Club.

Lake Jindabyne is truly one of Australia's most beautiful waterways, with 5 boat ramps and nearby beaches.
