Doftana Penitentiary has remained in history as the one in which no detainee has ever escaped. Former Prison Doftana, a cursed place, still haunted by the spirits of tortured and murdered prisoners here. Here he was incarcerated, among others Nicolae Ceausescu, former dictator of Romania.
