This short loop trail features one of the largest natural rock bridges in this part of the country, at 130 feet long and 12 feet thick. During the wet season, there are waterfalls that flow behind the bridge. There are also neat cave areas to explore. 1.1 miles, easy-moderate. Dogs allowed.
Alum Cove Trail (Moderate) 46 miles away. 1.2 mile loop trail that leads to one of the largest natural bridges in this part of the country. A spur off the loop leads to a little stream and beautiful caves and waterfalls.
This is a fabulous hike for families with children, with the Natural Bridge. The hike is not difficult. A definite must see! Dogs are allowed.
