These are suggestions for a few dog (and people) walks around the local area. Some are actually within walking distance of here, others are a short drive away. If you find any others on your visit, do please let me know - my dog has very short legs and is very old so we don't venture far these days and I'd love some more recommendations for future guests, four legs and two!

Great tree climbing for children. Great for dog walking. 10 minutes drive from Lyme Regis.

Up the top of Long Lane, which is out of the village and the first lane to the left past the church. You'll go through Coney's Castle to get there, an iron Age fort with exceptional views over the Marshwood Vale. Lambert's Castle is about 1/4 mile further on, and has its own magnificent views and woods to wander.

Beautiful views of 3 counties, an easy cycle ride from the cabin or a very short drive. It’s a peaceful walking spot.
