In 2012, husband and wife team, Tom and Karen Barbarie, recognized the need for an upscale steakhouse in the greater Danbury area. They knew they needed to create a concept that would set themselves apart from the area competition. Neither one being a stranger to the restaurant industry, they knew Danbury needed to experience five star food, five star service, but without the five star price tag and so, Barbarie’s Black Angus Grill was born.

Delicious, with hardy portions, this upscale steak house also has excellent fish, salads, and unique seasonal specials, as well as a lively bar scene. It often get packed on the weekends so go early or make reservations!
