Tyler's is a small family independent department store which was started in 1922. Over the years it has reinvented itself by moving from hardware and home-wear to furniture gifts and fashion. There is even a café on the first floor. In 1922 Charles Tyler and his brother Fred started a business in the Derby Square area of Loughborough. The store was an instant success and quickly developed a reputation for quality goods that were reasonably priced. Tyler's is a unique store that has developed over the past century from a traditional hardware store to an inspirational department store.
