Wellington State Park is located on Newfound Lake. Newfound is one of the cleanest lakes in the world and the park and beach are fun for all ages. The park is located 14 miles from the Mountain View Suite.

The peninsula nature trail along the water's edge offers spectacular views of Newfound Lake - easy for all ages.

Our favorite local beach and boat launch. It's got clean bathrooms and changing rooms, a snack bar, and even a ton of picnic tables and charcoal grills so you can have a day of grilling at the beach.

$4 per adult I think. Really pristine water and beaches. However, Newfound isn't too warm yet, but it is beautiful. Picnic tables, bathrooms, snack stand.
