This is a hole in the wall place that is worth seeking out for an incredible sandwich. It's a local favorite for high-quality meats. The sandwiches are legendary. There's not a lot of seating, so I recommend taking the sandwich with you to a nearby park, or for a drive over to the beach in Santa Cruz. There is often a line for lunch, so consider calling in your order in advance. It seems chaotic in the tiny space, but they are actually pretty fast getting the customers what they ordered.

Small butcher shop that sells my favorite tri tip sandwiches. Chicken club sandwich is my second favorite. Go with the "super hero tri tip sandwich" on dutch crunch bread. Also, has a big selection of homemade beef jerky. Limited outside seating. Mon-Fri 9am-5pm Sat 9am-4:30pm Closed on Sundays

BBQ fix? This is off the beaten trail so drive, but worth it. 3 min drive away for a huge sandwich
