The grand Mesa is amazing and we hope you have time to visit while you’re here. From foraging during the summer to skiing and snowshoeing in the winter, it's an outdoor playground! We recommend hiking Crag Crest, Mesa Top Trail, and West Bench Trail! Cross Country Ski's are available to rent from Grand Mesa Outdoors in Cedaredge, and you should definitely do Skyline Trail! If you're here for the full moon, go snowshoe or cross-country ski in the moonlight, on a TOUR even!

Great spot for hiking. This is the largest flat top mountain! It's pretty epic with over 300+ natural lakes on the top of it. It is home to numerous animals like elk, moose, free roaming cattle, bats, deer, and thousands of more species. BRING BUGSPRAY! It can get hairy up there at certain times of year and the bugs are intense. West Nile Virus is prevalent in our neck of the woods :(

A beautiful area to enjoy the mountains, lakes and cool temperatures in the summer! Just a quick 1 hour drive from Fruita Pebbles! Biking, hiking, skiing, all the outdoor things!
