Since opening in May 2008, Velo has already earned a reputation as the finest restaurant in Rockland County, winning 2009 Metromix Hudson Valley Restaurant of the Year and 2014 & 2015 OpenTable Diners' Choice Award. Velo has consistently been given top ratings by ZAGATS, Rockland Magazine, the Bergen Record, and the New York Journal News. Velo, which means bicycle in French, showcases chef Anthony's love of cooking and his love of cycling, which is reflected in the decor. Velo serves exceptional food and wine including up to twenty wines by the glass; menu items are completely house-made including all pastas and desserts.
