The Cherrybank Inn is a pub iwhich also serves food. It's within walking distance and has a friendly welcome and is dog-friendly. A tip re eating there is that if you phone you are often told its full. However, if you go along, look at the table signs. Bookings are shown by a 'reserved from Xpm' sign on table so if you are able to eat before they need the table you are fine, just order at the bar.
