Cafe by the railway line. 90 minutes walk from your doorstep. Stop for something cheesy from their menu (they do other things too!) One of our favourites.
Go for a walk along the Downs Link, park at the Brickworks and have a cheesy lunch.
Cheese on toast and all things cheesy!! Home of the sussex charmer cheddar, this lovely farm cafe serves simple cheesy delights and is the perfect stop off if walking the Southdowns link routes. Always busy!
The Milk Churn is located next to the old railway line so perfect for a walk after indulging in their famous cheese on toast made with locally made cheese called Charmer.
Hugely popular as a pit stop for cyclists, there are also good walks all around the Milk Churn in Rudgwick, around 10 - 15 minutes drive. Family owned, the Milk Churn is a wooden cabin built on the original 1952 site of dairy cows, whose offspring still now produce the milk that Sussex Charmer, one or our local cheeses, is made of. Enjoy a slice or two of Sussex Charmer, some local butter on freshly made scones, or locally produced, naturally made ice cream... what's not to like - in the sun on the terrace, or with a paper, inside on a wet day. Produce is also available to buy, so that's supper sorted, too!
